Our Trust is led by Philip Townshend, Chairman and Andy Hardy, Chief Executive Officer. They are supported on the Trust Board by four Executive Directors, five independent Non-Executive Directors drawn from the local community and a Non-Executive Director nominated by the University of Warwick.

Ian Crich, Director of HR, is in attendance at Trust Board meetings but in a non-voting capacity. The proposed Foundation Trust Constitution makes provision for converting this post to a formal Executive Director role upon Foundation authorisation.

At present our Non-Executive Directors are appointed by the NHS Appointments Commission; however, under Foundation Trust arrangements they will be appointed by our Assembly of Governors.

The Executive and Non-Executive Directors of the Board have a collective responsibility for decisions which ensure the successful operation of our organisation. They each have an important role in ensuring the probity of our activities and contributing to the achievement of our objectives, always keeping in mind the best interests of our patients and the wider public.
