Have Your Say
The public consultation on UHCW's plans to become a Foundation Trust is now closed. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to give us their feedback or become a member of the Trust - your contribution is much appreciated.
Over 12 weeks UHCW NHS Trust interacted with over 100,000 people. We achieved this through over 200 consultation activities including public meetings, ward forums, presentations to specialist groups and presence at major sporting events. This has paid dividends with hundreds of incidents of verbal feedback alone. There has been valuable input from patients, carers, staff, partners and members of the public about our plans and ideas and we would like to share our findings with you.
Read the consultation report in full.
Overall, the consultation showed an overarching support for the Trust's FT application and its proposals around its name and identity, membership, governors, board arrangements and transition arrangements. Stakeholders also provided a range of helpful suggestions for plans going forward, such as aligning the constituency boundaries (in Coventry) with those of the parliamentary constituencies, and UHCW is now looking to take action on a number of these ideas.
For more information on why we think Foundation Trust status is the right move for us all, why not take a look at our information leaflet?
You can view an e-book version of the consultation document below, which will allow you to enlarge the text, if needed.
As an NHS Foundation Trust our patients, staff and members of the public can become 'members' of the Trust and while the consultation is now closed, you can still sign up as a member at any time. This means you can be involved in shaping the future of your healthcare services. While visiting the site, we hope you will take the opportunity to apply for Membership.
