The prices are inclusive of:

All consultations with specialist medical, laboratory or nursing staff of the CRM

Consultation with consultant urologist or reproductive endocrinologist in combined clinics (if required)
Detailed baseline semen analysis in our andrology laboratory
Endocrinology (hormone) blood tests for the female
Additional diagnostic procedures (if required)
For IVF/ICSI: - sedation/anaesthetic during egg retrieval
Freezing of supernumerary embryos and storage for the first year only.
For ICSI: blood tests on the male for cystic fibrosis status and karyotype (chromosomes)
Independent counselling (as required)
Referral for genetic counselling (if required)

The £40 HFEA licence charge for each treatment cycle

As the Centre is a non profit-making NHS facility, charges made are fair and the unit works hard to keep them as low as possible. Subject to criteria, some of the above treatments are provided free of charge on the NHS for local (Coventry) residents and for some residents of other Health Authorities with whom the CRM holds a purchasing contract.

Unless stated, all prices are exclusive of drug cost except for egg donation treatment where the price includes all the required drugs both for the egg recipient and the egg donor.

If an IVF/ICSI cycle is abandoned prior to egg retrieval, or if no eggs or sperm are obtained during egg or sperm retrieval (PESA/TESE), a charge of £440 only will be made to cover the consultant, nursing and lab time used to date.

If donor sperm is used in conjunction with an IVF/ICSI cycle, an additional £70 is payable

Payment has to be made in full prior to commencement of the treatment itself.

All payments should be made to the General Office at University Hospital or brought into the Centre. Cheques and credit cards are accepted. You can also pay over the telephone using a credit or debit card, please call 02476 96 6038.
