Midwives to hold second web chat

16:00 23/07/2012

Trailblazing Midwives at University Hospital will be online again for their second web chat to give patients access to real-time healthcare advice.

The midwives answered more than 30 questions during their first web chat about a whole range of issues from pregnancy, birth and careers in midwifery.

Go to www.uhcw.nhs.uk/webchat on Friday 27 July from 1pm to 2pm to ask midwives any questions about pregnancy or birth.

And you'll be able to find out about the maternity services at UHCW and the services available for mums-to-be.

Head of Midwifery, Carmel McCalmont said: "The web chats are a great way for patients and members of the public to ask us questions without feeling embarrassed. Pregnancy, child birth and motherhood can be very daunting times, but we are here to help.”

To take part in the web chat, make sure your questions are ready and log on at 12.30pm this Friday or you can submit your questions beforehand via:
