Join us on Monday 18 February at 10am for a healthy heart web chat with renowned cardiologist Dr Faizel Osman.

February is national heart month and your chance to find out from a leading expert how you can best protect yourself from heart disease, or manage a current heart condition.

Dr Osman is a Consultant Cardiologist / Electrophysiologist and has worked at University Hospital, Coventry for over 4 years. His areas of expertise include: heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), cardiac electrophysiology study and ablation and complex cardiac device implants (such as cardiac resynchronisation therapy and implantable cardioverter defibrillators).

Find out from Dr Osman how taking exercise, eating a healthy diet and being aware of dangers such as high blood pressure, smoking and drinking can protect your heart. Ask about the treatments available to you or your loved ones if they develop a problem with their heart.

Be sure to have your questions ready and log on at 10am on Monday and use the hashtag #UHeartCW if you are on Twitter. And don’t forget you can submit questions anonymously.

#UHeartCW is the second in a series of web chats run by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, which aim to give our patients and the wider public real-time access to leading healthcare experts.

The web chat takes place on Monday 18 February 2013 at 10am at www.uhcw.nhs.uk/webchat. Questions can be emailed in advance to info@uhcw.nhs.uk.
