At UHCW NHS Trust there are lots of opportunities for those who are not from a clinical background to become part of the UHCW team in an administrative, clerical or managerial role.
Our non-medical staff are a vital component in our workforce and work alongside our clinical teams to drive and deliver a high quality healthcare service.
The Trust is committed to the development of non clinical staff and has developed a framework for Management Development and Leadership Development and offers the opportunity for managers to study to attain the Post Graduate Certificate in Managing Health and Social Care and the Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Management. The Trust also offers a Certificate in Leadership and management accredited by the ILM at level 3 and a Team Leading Qualification at Level 2.
The Trust has created ’The Administration Academy’ which is an organised professional structure where all admin and clerical posts are designed into a clear, professional structure. The Admin Academy enables individuals to take advantage of development opportunities are tailored to specific individuals’ needs and requirements of specific job roles.
