The Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Research Facility (CRF) receives funding from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHRto provide the support and expertise required to conduct high quality experimental studies.

We offer dedicated facilities and support to researchers undertaking the following types of studies:

  • Early phase interventional studies (phase IIa and earlier)
  • Experimental medicine studies which are ‘nested’ within later phase studies and require specialised facilities, staff or equipment
  • High-intensity or high-complexity elements of later phase studies
  • Early stages of testing new techniques or new medical devices
