myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire is UHCW’s patient portal – a digital platform that will empower you to:

  • Access information about your upcoming appointments
  • Provide your care team with information about your health and preferences
  • View important documents and test results
  • Access useful learning materials
  • Communicate with your care team.

When you self-refer for maternity care at UHCW, our team will arrange your first appointment. You’ll then receive an SMS (text message) inviting you to register to use myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire.

Using the patient portal will put you more in control of your own care. You’ll have 24/7 access to your notes, scheduled appointments and test results, and you will be able to answer questions about your health and preferences in your own time instead of during appointments with your midwife.



When you receive the text message inviting you to register for the patient portal, follow the link provided to complete the process. You’ll need to provide an email address and set up a secure password.

Two-step authentication is required, which means you’ll receive another text message containing a five digit code. Your registration for myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire can be completed when you enter this code.

You can register to use the patient portal from a smartphone or on a desktop computer or laptop.

Launch myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire

When there is information waiting for you in the patient portal, you’ll receive a text message prompting you to log in. You’ll also receive an email that explains there is an update for you to view, with a link that will take you to the login screen.

If you forget your password for myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire, you can re-set it by selecting ‘Forgot password?’ on the login screen. You’ll receive an email and a link that will allow you to create a new password.

If you forget your email address, you will need to provide further information to confirm your identity before your access to the patient portal can be restored.

Should you experience difficulty using myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire, visit the Help Centre, linked at the bottom of the login screen. You won’t need to be logged into the patient portal to access this.



myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire can be used by patients aged 16 and over.

The patient portal is for your use only, so you’ll need your own email address and a mobile phone, tablet or other device that is not shared.



As long as you don’t share your login details or password for myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire, and provided you are not sharing your mobile phone / device or email address, only you will be able to see the information in your care record.

The two-step authentication process provides extra security. It’s the same technology that might be used when you access online banking.

If you access myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire through a web browser, look for the padlock in the browser bar for reassurance that your connection is secure.

Any text messages or emails you receive from the patient portal will be clearly labelled, so you’ll know they’re coming from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

If you choose to download documents from myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire to your own device, it will be your responsibility to make sure the information remains secure.



Although you can change the phone number you have stored in myhealth Coventry and Warwickshire, this willnot update the phone number included in your care record. In order to change this, you will need to ask your care team. It’s important that we have the right phone number for you so that we can reach you when we need to.
