Professor Daly said:

“I am really looking forward to taking up this role at UHCW.  The Trust has established an enviable reputation for the quality of its care and I was delighted to see its ambitious plans for patients. The relationship between UHCW and Coventry University is hugely successful, as exemplified by our nursing, midwifery and allied health education provision being rightly recognised as being amongst the best in the UK.  I will look to ensure that the partnership between the Trust and the University continues to develop and expand, building on our excellent foundations.”

Andy Meehan, Chair for UHCW, said:

"I am delighted to welcome Professor Daly as our new Non-Executive Director. Guy has both breadth and depth in health knowledge and life sciences that will be invaluable to our organisation and strategic leadership, particularly as we move towards Integrated Care Systems. Guy will support the Trust in its ambition to build an international reputation and further develop education and research programmes that bring real benefits to patients."
