Birthing partner visiting times extended across the Trust

Visiting times for one birthing partner to attend Ward 24 (antenatal) and Ward 25 (postnatal) at University Hospital, Coventry have been extended to 11am until 8pm with immediate effect.

Birthing partners will need to book a visiting appointment using our booking system - https://uhcw-visitors.co.uk

Before attending hospital it is recommend that you take a Lateral Flow Test, which are freely available through the Government website and can be ordered here. Please bring the details of your results with you when visiting so they can be recorded by our staff.

Please also remember:

  • Your birth partner should be from your household or support bubble and should be the same person throughout your pregnancy, labour and postnatal period.
  • To wear a face covering during your visit and maintain social distancing.
  • To refrain from laying / sitting on hospital beds or wandering around the ward.
  • To remain on the ward during your visiting period.
