Nominations are now open for our 15th annual Outstanding Service and Care Awards (OSCAs) and our aim is to make this another record-breaking year for entries.
The OSCAs celebrate the inspiring work of individuals and teams at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust – whether clinical, non-clinical or from our support services.
This is your chance to say thank you to those who have gone above and beyond to provide world class patient care, make a difference to others and live and breathe our values.
Anyone can submit a nomination – patients, relatives, colleagues – in one or more of our new and improved categories.
Professor Andy Hardy, Chief Executive Officer at UHCW NHS Trust, said: “Our Outstanding Service and Care Awards enable us to say a massive thank you to individuals and teams who have delivered excellent standards of care, treatment or who have gone the extra mile to provide a high-quality experience for our patients.
“We have inspirational staff working across our hospitals and community settings and these awards are just one way in which we can recognise their excellence and the amazing work that they do. I’d like to encourage anyone who has experienced or observed great care or service to submit a nomination, tell us how our staff helped make a difference and give them the ultimate boost.”
To nominate someone for an award, please fill in a form at https://www.uhcw.nhs.uk/oscas/ before 11.59pm on Sunday 7th August 2022.
It will only take a few minutes of your time, but your submission will mean the world to the individuals and teams concerned.
Please keep your eyes peeled for further updates on the awards on our social media channels and website.

Please ensure you have a current blood test request form, if not please contact your hospital consultant or GP and they will post one to you. Unfortunately, your blood test will need to be rescheduled if you do not have a blood test request form when you come to a Blood Test clinic.
All blood tests are by appointment, please book an appointment using the Book Online button below.
If you have an appointment and cannot attend, please remember to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that someone else can use the time slot that you no longer need.
If you cannot book an appointment online, family and friends may be able to help – you can book appointments for more than one person from one account. Booking online is the quickest way to make an appointment.
If this is not possible, there is a telephone line for those who cannot book online. Please call 02476 153546 between 8am and 1pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
