CEO celebrates NHS70 with cards from local school

CEO Andy Hardy received NHS 70th birthday cards this week from a local school. Year 3 at Boughton Leigh Junior school in Rugby sent the cards to the Trust to help staff mark the special day. 

Messages included

  • Happy Birthday and thank you for helping my Grandad's cancer
  • Thank you for looking after me and letting me live and helping lots of my family and friends survive
  • Happy B'day to the 70 years old NHS! Carry on saving lives from serious illnessess such as cancer but also small ones like ear pain
  • Thanks to the NHS, I'm better now!
  • Thank you for making the world a better place and thank you for making people better.
  • Thanks for looking after all of the people. We are really lucky to have you look after us. We are very grateful for all your hard work.
  • Thank you for helping my family, when my mum got a crash from a car. Thank you a lot for that.

The cards will be include on a special NHS portal for staff to access and on a display at the Hospital St Cross  for staff.
