Minor injuries service to resume in the Emergency Department at University Hospital, Coventry

We are pleased to announce that treatment of minor injuries in adults aged 16 and over will resume in the Emergency Department at University Hospital, Coventry at 8am on Wednesday, September 2.

This service was temporarily relocated to Urgent Treatment Centres in the area to free up vital resources in the fight against COVID-19.

We are encouraging those with minor injuries to continue to use alternative NHS services where appropriate such as NHS 111, local pharmacies and to make an appointment with their GP in the normal way.

Services continue as normal at Rugby Urgent Treatment Centre, which is open 24/7 at the Hospital of St Cross. Coventry Urgent Treatment Centre, in Stoney Stanton Road, is available from 8am to 10pm daily (there are no x-ray facilities available on site).
