Entries are now open for our 16^th annual Outstanding Service and Care Awards (OSCAs) – and we want you to help us celebrate our amazing staff.

This is your chance to say thank you as part of the 75^th anniversary of the NHS to those who have gone above and beyond to provide world class patient care, make a difference to others and live and breathe our values.

The OSCAs celebrate the inspiring work of individuals and teams at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust – whether clinical, non-clinical or from our support services.

Anyone can submit a nomination – staff, patients, relatives and loved ones – and the winners will be revealed at a ceremony in September.

Last year there were almost 1,200 nominees – but we want your help to beat that figure in 2023.

Professor Andy Hardy, Chief Executive Officer at UHCW NHS Trust, said: “We have inspirational staff working across our hospitals and community settings who take great pride in caring for the communities we serve.

“The OSCAs are just one of the ways in which we get to say ‘thank you’ and give our amazing colleagues the recognition they deserve.

“I’d like to encourage anyone who has experienced or observed great care or service to submit a nomination and tell us how our staff helped make a difference.”

In this milestone year for the NHS we want to celebrate how much has been and continues to be achieved and this is a chance for people from Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond to help us to tell the story of the impact it has had on their lives.
