  • A visit to the maternity unit
  • Ask the midwife – midwives will be on hand to answer any questions and to bust some myths
  • Once in labour when to come to hospital and where to come
  • What you really need in your hospital bag
  • Plus much more….

Claire Allan, Modern Matron said: “Pregnancy can be a very special time for a mother and her daughter and this event is about recognising the important role mothers play in their daughter’s pregnancy and birth. Chances are that a lot has changed since the grandmothers-to-be were pregnant so we also hope to give them some information that will help them to give the best advice to their daughters.”

The event will take place between 6-8pm on Wednesday 28 November in the seminar room on Ward 24, University Hospital, Coventry.

Places are limited please email info@uhcw.nhs.uk by Friday 23 November to reserve yours.
