The Trust launched the monthly group in April 2015, to provide extra emotional and practical support to people living with, or recently diagnosed with, cancer.

Deborah Smith, Macmillan Information and Support Manager, said: “Cancer United is open to anyone affected by cancer, including family members and carers.

“It’s a friendly and welcoming group, where people have the chance to share their experiences or simply listen to the experiences of others who understand what you’re going through.

‘Cancer United’ meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 10.30am in the Faith Centre at University Hospital, Coventry. Free parking and refreshments are provided.
