Trust assessing potential impact of upcoming industrial action by Resident Doctors

As you may be aware, Resident Doctors in England have voted for five days of industrial action from 7am on Friday 25th July until 7am on Wednesday 30th July.

A resident doctor, previously known as a junior doctor, is a fully qualified medical practitioner who is either in postgraduate training or gaining experience as a locally employed doctor.

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust is focused on providing safe care to all who need it and we are in the process of assessing the level of impact.

There is no need to call us to check on appointments – the Trust will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled. If you do not hear from us, please attend as normal.

We will provide further updates nearer the time, so please keep an eye on our website and social media channels.

Thank you for your patience and support.
