Trust launches Cancer Survey

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) would like to encourage patients who have received treatment for cancer at UHCW to complete a Trust Cancer Survey. The survey went live on Thursday, December 1, 2016 and can be completed online.

The survey will be accessible via the Trust’s Survey Centre on its website. It is completely anonymous and can either be completed by patients themselves or by someone giving the patients’ views.

Carole Bailey, Lead Cancer Nurse, said: “This is a welcome opportunity for patients to let us know what we are doing well and what we are doing not so well. This way we can continue to improve the service for our patients.

“I would encourage anyone who has experienced cancer treatment in our hospitals to complete this survey to help us improve the service further.”

The survey should only take around 15-20 minutes and will give the Trust valuable feedback which will enable them to make any changes to improve their cancer services where necessary.

The Trust is one of the first in the country to offer an online survey for cancer patients to give feedback on their experience and believe that it will provide them with valuable information on improvements that can be made to their services.

After a three month trial period, it will be decided whether the survey should be made available in other media.
