Two events for nurses looking to return to hospital

Are you looking for an opportunity to use the latest technology work in a modern hospital setting to care for some of Coventry and Warwickshire’s sickest patients?

If you are then University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust are holding two informal sessions for nurses not currently working in a hospital setting to come and learn more about the opportunities available in an acute hospital.

At the sessions, attendees will have the chance to speak to members of the nursing team about working at the Trust and learn more about the tailored training packages on offer for nurses looking to make the transition.

Linda Abolins, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, said: “This is a great opportunity for nurses who are delivering compassionate care in other settings around Coventry and Warwickshire, to come and deliver that type of care in a hospital environment.

“The new recruits will receive a supported bespoke training package to ease the transition. I really recommend that interested nurses come along to one of the sessions and meet the team and to get any questions they might have answered.”

The sessions will take place in the Clinical Sciences Building (CSB) at University Hospital, Coventry on the following dates:

• Thursday, February 25, 2016 6pm-8pm
• Saturday, February 27, 2016 10am-12noon
