UHCW invites you to attend its Annual General Meeting

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust is inviting patients and members of the public to find out more about their local hospitals at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM is due to take place in the Innovation Hub in the Clinical Sciences Building at University Hospital, Coventry, from 5:30pm – 7pm on Thursday, July 25 2019.

At the meeting, the Trust, which also runs the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby, will look back at some of the biggest achievements over the last year, as well as some of the challenges it faced.

The Trust Board will also look forward to the next year, and what the organisation has planned for 2019/20.

Following the review of the year there will be an open question and answer session and a chance to speak with senior staff on an individual basis.

The AGM will hear that in 2018/19:

  • UHCW was awarded a £14 million Government grant to advance the use of artificial intelligence in cancer diagnosis
  • Maternity staff were presented with a baby feeding award by the Lord Mayor
  • Our organisational development programme ‘Together Towards World Class’ celebrated its fifth anniversary

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM.
