Patients of all ages with minor injuries and illnesses can attend Coventry UTC where Urgent Care Practitioners, including GPs and nurses, will undertake an assessment, provide advice and give patients treatment where needed.
Once you have received an assessment, you will be prioritised based on your clinical need so your treatment will be provided in an appropriate timeframe.

Coventry UTC operates a walk-in clinic service and if you require our care you will need to attend the City of Coventry NHS Healthcare Centre and check-in at the Coventry UTC reception on the first floor. You will then be booked in for an appointment with the UTC team.
You may also be booked in to see our team through the NHS 111 service.
The blood testing service at City of Coventry Health Centre is by appointment only. Click here to book.
If you have a severe illness or injury you should go directly to University Hospital, Coventry, or dial 999 for an ambulance.
Please note you are not able to register as an NHS patient at the centre.
Coventry UTC is located inside the City of Coventry NHS Healthcare Centre on the ground floor.

Attend the Coventry UTC reception on the first floor to book your appointment or check-in for your appointment.
By car – the closest public car park is located outside the centre and operates a pay and display service. This can be accessed via leaving Junction two on the Coventry ring road on to Bird Street and staying in the right hand lane and taking the first right turn into the car park on Stoney Stanton Road.
By bus – Bus numbers 4, 13, 13c, 21, 21c, 36 and 36c stop near the centre. All bus services terminate in either the Pool Meadow Bus Station or Trinity Street, which are both a five minute walk away.
By train – When you arrive at Coventry Railway Station take the number 27 bus from directly outside the station entrance to Pool Meadow Bus Station. You will then have a five minute walk to the centre.

Please ensure you have a current blood test request form, if not please contact your hospital consultant or GP and they will post one to you. Unfortunately, your blood test will need to be rescheduled if you do not have a blood test request form when you come to a Blood Test clinic.
All blood tests are by appointment, please book an appointment using the Book Online button below.
If you have an appointment and cannot attend, please remember to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that someone else can use the time slot that you no longer need.
If you cannot book an appointment online, family and friends may be able to help – you can book appointments for more than one person from one account. Booking online is the quickest way to make an appointment.
