About Dr Martin Been
Role:
Consultant
Other Professional Details:
Dr Been Leads the Primary Angioplasty (Heart attack) service at UHCW. He also performs coronary angiogram, pressure wire, coronary angioplasty, rotational atherectomy and intravascular Imaging as well as pacemaker implantation.
He also leads the Rapid Access Chest Pain clinic , supporting the Cardiac Nurse Specialists who undertake the majority of these clinics.
He has a weekly general Cardiology Clinic at the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby.
He is involved in a number of Cardiology research studies.
Special Interests:
Interventional & general adult cardiology; angioplasty, atherectomy and stenting, ASD & PFO closure, pacing and echocardiography
