  • Other Professional Details:
    I am trained in all aspects of heart failure diagnosis and management. My special interest is advanced heart failure and I work closely with my colleagues from our nearest transplant centres. I am the leading implanter of standard and complex pacemakers and defibrillators at UHCW. Together with my colleague Professor Osman, we provide a device extraction service and implant leadless pacemakers. I collaborate with my colleague Dr Khan to provide cardiac MRIs to patients with non-MRI conditional pacemakers. I am a member of our local Sarcoidosis MDT.
    Languages spoken: English, German and French.
  • Special Interests:
    I lead an active research programme investigating remote monitoring of Cardiac Electronic Implantable Devices, artificial intelligence in the management of heart failure as well as Cardiac Sarcoidosis. I work closely with industry and the Universities of Warwick and Coventry, as well as other academic research centres in Germany. I have presented at national and international conferences and published numerous scientific papers.
    I am an educational supervisor for heart failure and device trainees.
