    Dr Peerbhoy is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. He is the department lead for undergraduate medical education.

    Dr Peerbhoy qualified from the University of Poona, India, in 1998. He qualified as a respiratory specialist in India’s prestigious Armed Forces Medical College. He has trained in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital, St George’s Hospital, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and various university hospitals in London. He also holds the HERMES European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine.

    Dr Peerbhoy was awarded an MD in 2003 for his thesis on spirometric norms in the paediatric and adolescent age group. He has also done a retrospective study on the diagnosis and treatment outcomes in lymph node tuberculosis, and co-authored a review article on diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.
