    Dr Victoria Gordon was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire in September 2015. She graduated from Southampton Medical School in 2003, having previously completed a BSc with honors in Biomedical Science at Sheffield University. She completed her Gastroenterology Specialist Training within the East Midlands Region during which time she developed a specialist interest in Hepatology and Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH).

    In 2013 she undertook a 2-year research fellowship at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust during which time she was instrumental in the successful development and initiation of the UK Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) audit, which is an ongoing National audit of this rare autoimmune liver disease mainly affecting women. She remains the project lead for the UK AIH Audit. In addition she is in the final stages of writing up her MD thesis. In her spare time she enjoys cycling and the occasional adventure race!
