  • Other Professional Details:
    I graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 1992 and, after completing medical and surgical house jobs in Birmingham and Worcester, spent 15 months working as a junior doctor in Australia before returning to London to concentrate on surgical training.
    I completed specialist registrar training in trauma and orthopaedics in London and then spent a six month fellowship in Australia in 1994 concentrating on knee and sports surgery.
    I started as a consultant at UHCW in April 2005 and was Clinical Director of the orthopaedic department from 2011 to 2014, being responsible for leading the large team of orthopaedic surgeons.
    I have links with a number of professional sports teams within the UK including Premiership rugby. In addition, I am dedicated to the surgical training of undergraduate medical students at Warwick University, junior doctors and specialist orthopaedic registrars. I teach regularly both nationally and internationally.
  • Special Interests:
    Specialist interests include knee arthroscopic procedures, ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair and transplantation, Osteochondral Allograft Transplantation, patella instability surgery, osteotomy, knee preserving surgery as well as partial and total knee replacement.
